Mangine Family

Mangine FamilyNick and Gwenn Mangine recently relocated to Jacmel, Haiti in May 2009 in order to start the process of opening the second HCH home.  In December of this year, they will open their home and create a family for 20 orphaned and abandoned children.

Why did they decide to uproot their American life and move to Haiti?  Here's what they had to say, "We believe very passionately that one family can make a difference. We want to be one of those families.  We will accept and care for the children in our home, giving them the opportunity to grow up in a secure, stable environment with access to opportunities EVERY child should be afforded—food, clothing, shelter, health care, education, and, of course, love."
